Service Excellence programmes are ensconced within Service Quality (SQ) Centre, a product brand under TÜV SÜD PSB Learning. In 2008, SQ Centre became the first national CET Centre for WSQ Service Excellence.
Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) Service Excellence is a competency-based training framework designed for organisations and individuals wanting to raise their service competence to world class standards.
This nationally recognised, competency-based training and assessment system validated by industry players, provides a structured and comprehensive approach to help companies develop a whole-company approach to service excellence.
The competency modules are developed in close consultation with industry partners from best-in-class service companies focussed on driving service excellence. Organisations can leverage on the modular system and enrol service staff for relevant training to address any skills gaps or as part of attaining industry specific WSQ qualifications.
With a total of 24 modules for Operations, Supervisory and Managerial levels, this flexible mode of training can be adapted to suit different business and work environments. While there are no academic pre-requisites for entry into the programme, participants are strongly encouraged to be proficient in English and able to complete required assessments.

Participants certified competent are awarded a Statement of Attainment (SoA) by the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA).
As the framework is closely aligned to the SPRING Singapore Business Excellence Niche (Service) Standard, it can be used as a capability development tool in an organisation's business excellence journey as the competencies identified equip organisations with the service capabilities, geared towards the Service Class award.
Eligible Singaporeans / PRs enjoy 90% funding* on Operations and Supervisory level programmes and 70% funding* on Managerial programmes.
