TÜV SÜD Asia Pacific Announces New CRO Appointment
Singapore - TÜV SÜD announces the appointment of Mr. Ishan Palit as Chief Regional Officer Asia Pacific, commencing October 1st 2009. Palit succeeds Mr. Dirk Eilers, who will take up the new global role of Chief Executive Officer of the TÜV SÜD Product Service Division.
Educated at Davidson College, USA, Georgia Southern University, USA and London School of Economics, UK, Palit holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics / Engineering, Masters in Business Administration and a Degree in Economics. After joining the TÜV SÜD Group in 1994 as General Manager of the Indian business operations, Ishan Palit was promoted to Managing Director of South Asia in 1999. Under his leadership, the sales turnover tripled and operations expanded to 30 offices and laboratory locations throughout India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. In his most recent position as TÜV SÜD Asia Pacific Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Palit’s responsibilities included development of current and new businesses and top and bottom line accountabilities of the Business Units.
As TÜV SÜD Asia Pacific CRO, Mr. Palit will be responsible for profit and loss, sales revenues and budget for all business operations in the Asia Pacific region.
